News; Buy Nike Tiempo Legend VI FG Black/White/Gold

Published: Wednesday 09 December, 2015

Nike Tiempo Legend 6 has already hit our stores, and the excitement is in overdive as everyone wants to find out exactly how different it is from Tiempo Legend V. We can reveal right now that there are some major changes, and we’re not just talking about the look. So let’s get right to it and check out differences between Tiempo Legend V and Tiempo 6. Here we go!

The first thing we noticed from Tiempo 6 is the clean upper, as the stitching has almost disappeared from the front area. The reason why Nike did this is to stop mud or water from hardening the natural leather by seeping into the stitching, something that would often occur with the Tiempo V.

You may think that removing the quilting from the upper means the upper will become too loose after a few games. Nike have solved that problem by adding an internal foam cage to wrap around your forefoot and midfoot, so no worries about keeping your foot in place.

Some Tiempo fans will be disappointed to find that the classic tongue has been replaced by a modern tongueless upper. This totally changes the look of the boot, which no longer resembles the retro style that everyone has become accustom to. This tongue design is actually not something brand new, as we’ve already seen a similar one-piece upper on Mercurial Vapor X and Hypervenom Phinish II. And now the modern tongue has come to Tiempo 6, with the added benefit of your feet being much closer to the ball. This will be a major love/hate divider, but as they say, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

Now let’s take a look inside the boot. You’ll be happy to see that Tiempo 6 still features the very effective Poron sockliner, also used on the Tiempo V. But you’ll be even happier to know that it’s been improved, using suede material. Not only should it give great cushioning and feel nice, but you should also find that making quick movements or directional changes on the pitch feels even better.

These are the major differences that we noticed from our first look. The question now is, how does Tiempo 6 perform? Does the ball touch live up to the silo’s legendary reputation? We will have a complete review for you very soon, but in the mean time why not try them out yourself. You can check out the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 at classicfootballsale Store now.
